| To configure Outlook Express 5 and Entourage for your Vanity email address, add a New Account, and enter your Vanity email account information. |
Configuring Outlook Express 5 for Vanity Email
1) Open Outlook Express 5.
2) From the Tools menu, choose Accounts.
3) Click the New button.
4) Click the arrow box on the Account type pop-up list and choose POP.
5) Click the OK button.
6) In the Account name field, type joe@yourdomain.com.
7) In the Name field, type your name.
8) In the E-mail address field, type your Vanity email address.
9) In the Account ID field, type your Mindsync email address.
Note: For authentication purposes, the Account ID must be your Mindsync email address (i.e. username@mindsync.com)and not your vanity email address.
10) In the POP server field, type pop.Mindsync.net.
11) In the Password field, type your account password.
12) In the SMTP server field, type smtp.Mindsync.net.
13) Click the OK button.
14) Select your vanity email account in the list.
15) Click the Make default button.
You have successfully configured Outlook Express 5 and Entourage for your Vanity email address.
