Newsletter

We're back! It's been a year since we wrote a newsletter and so we are starting them up again. This one also updates you on the LAM activities, past and present, so it may be a bit lengthy - but please take the time to read, it will really bless you. Linda Lange will continue to share insights and truths, and we will also have others provide testimonials and share thought provoking insights as well. We hope you enjoy the newsletters. You can also view past newsletters as well by accessing the website at: http://www.mindsync.com/lam and select "newsletters."

I (Linda Lange) wants to begin by doing a review of the previous years since we began in 1996 when this ministry was formed. It wasn't until 1998 that Life Application Ministries began teaching on healing and restoration. From 1996-1998 - I was conducting meetings, but didn't have a real feel yet what I was really going to focus on, I was being prepared for the ministry I now have. I remained faithful to teaching during that time, and it came to pass in 1998 when I met Pastor Henry Wright, from Pleasant Valley Church. Then because I received an amazing breakthrough that impacted my life (you can read about it in my book A Matter of the Mind or just read through old newsletters on the web) that I knew this was my call, to teach others what I have learned so they too can be helped.

In 1998, I believe that's when I first began making the ministry available by email. The ministry conducted at the earlier days were by telephone, but it was very limited, since I worked full-time I wasn't always available to minister, so I developed a website. This site is now reaching thousands all over the world, of which I cannot count because I didn't add a counter until this past year! But let's take a look at the previous years of those who contacted us. I found that those that contacted this ministry was by word of mouth, through the website, and PVC referrals. Let's take a look at the previous years:

1999 - 10 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry

2000 - 20 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry

2001 - 32 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry

2002 - 70 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry

2003 - 109 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry(Since many of the same information was provided to all those ministered in previous years, this year I decided to put the teaching materials on-line - and I noticed a drop in contacts as they were getting the information they needed from the site.)

2004 - 103 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry.

2005 - 52 people contacted this ministry and received personal ministry

2006 - currently working with 6 individuals on-line.

Many individuals live in the U.S., but many are from other states and abroad: Arkansas, Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, New Mexico, Alaska, Arizona, N. Carolina, West Virginia, Ireland, England, Scotland, Africa, New Zealand, Australia - to name a few. Since I minister via. email, I don't always know where they are from, but I have managed to identify a few.

These numbers are only an estimated amount; they don't reflect the hundreds of individuals who attended seminars. The reason I wanted to note this for you is to show you that this ministry is reaching a lot of people. Many hearts are being healed, and they in turn are helping others. So these numbers are much larger because as these individuals are helped, they in turn help others, and so we have no idea how many have actually been helped by this ministry. God knows, and that's all that matters.

What a responsibility to represent the Kingdom of God to so many people. 98% of these individuals are believers who have lost their joy, their hope, their health, and their intimacy with God or they contact us to find help to help a loved one. I have stayed in contact with several of the individuals and many have become dear friends - though I've never met them face to face. Some have plowed ahead and continues to seek God in deeper degrees, some have become prayer partners with me, some forward the Website to others, and yet some have allowed the world to distract them so they have not pressed forward as they would have liked to, and some have fallen away. This ministry provides truth, teachings, and prayer, but God is the one who is in charge whether they continue in it or not. As the Bible says, "We can plant and water, but God gives the increase."

If you feel that you would like to help support this ministry in 2006, please continue to pray for us. If you can support financially, any amount is tax-deductible and greatly appreciated.

All the teaching is available on our Website. I am compiling the teaching into a book called, "Revealing Truth". This is an exhaustive teaching that is provided by Life Application Ministries and will be available sometime in the spring. Check back with us on the website to order.

HOT OFF THE PRESS INSIGHTS

Within the newsletters I offer insights, teachings and revelations that will encourage and help you in your own life. These are actual events and experiences that have brought to pass healing and sanctification in my own life and in the lives of those I minister to. We overcome the devil by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev.12:11). And that's what these insights are - testimonies. I pray that you are blessed and ministered to as much as I was as I experienced these things. The testimonials are a manifestation of the things taught at LAM meetings. I practice what I preach and have seen my life being transformed and continues being transformed every single day!

The 50th Fear

It has been a year since I shared some insights with you, but that doesn't mean they haven't been coming. Every day it seems God has changed me in an area, showed me some amazing things, and given me some things to look forward to. So I want to start with one that started my year off with a bang! Some of you who know me have learned that I had lots of issues with fear. After being set free from the "Spirit of fear" there were many fearful things I still had to face, just as we all do every day. The freer we become, the more God reveals for more freedom. Even when we are delivered from the "Spirit" we still have to face those things that we "think" are still fearful, it's the residue that spirit left - things we have to now face. God is clear when He says, "Do not fear." So that has been a quest of mine for the last eight years. (You can read about that in my book "A Matter of the Mind.")

This revelation has brought me into more freedom than I already had. I didn't even know I was "in" this type of fear until I was freed! Let me share my story.

I called this segment the "50th Fear" because if I had to number this fear, I would number it 50 - but really this has to do with my 50th birthday.

For several months I had been planning my retirement at age 50. I have 25 years with State Service and will reach the retirement age of 50 next month. I had always known that I would retire at 50, even when I was 18 years old! As a matter of fact, when I started working for the State at 19 years old, I knew then that 50 was a milestone in my life.

With that, all my life (almost 50 years) I have had it in the back of my head that when I turned 50 I'll no longer be capable of doing much of anything. I really didn't know why, I just felt an urgency to "retire" at that age because I wasn't going to have much time left to do much of anything. I never really talked about it, not until now.

One day I was visiting with my husband Tom and I began confessing some things to him that I've been carrying around in my heart. And out from no-where (well from inside) I said, "I'm afraid that I'll get my father's disease." Just saying that outloud caused my eyes to fill up with tears and I felt a pain down inside my heart. I was getting free at that very moment. I always had thoughts of that in the back of my head, but I would push them away, never wanted to look face to face at it. But finally said it out loud! When I started to cry, I knew God was healing my heart, and was changing my thoughts on the matter. I then began to see that most of my decisions in my life has been "fear" based on the assumptions that I would be "sick" at age 50. I believe that's when my father decided that he no longer could do anything. I remember him saying to my mother that he couldn't make anything any longer. He was very crafty, he made beautiful lawn furniture, he built a dark room for his photography, but for some reason, he had a mindset that when he turned 50 his life would be over. Then he did get a disease that complicated his health. It appeared that I was having the same thoughts. Once I confessed this out of my mouth, something left me.

I noticed a change right away. I wasn't so concerned about being 50 any longer. As time went on, I didn't even really want to retire at 50, unless of course God wanted me to for the work of the ministry. I no longer made decisions out of "fear" of being incapacitated. As the weeks went on, I felt a freedom that I can't even describe. Fear of man - what people think, became less and less. And I no longer felt in competition with MYSELF to see things get done before 50. I had lost hope of doing anything past 50. My husband who is 10 years my senior has so many plans . He has plans of building a church for me to hold services, a garage, building a motorcycle from scratch, and the list goes on. But every time he would say anything about these ideas, I would say, "We'll see." But deep inside I would say, "It''ll never happen."

Well, that whole attitude has changed. I see the possibility of everything happening. I'm currently working on designing a garage and studio that we want to build this year or next. I'm making plans for the future!

I recall while having this conversation with my husband that I was afraid in both directions concerning retirement. (Of course, I wouldn't completely really, just quit the state job to do work full-time in ministry.) I was afraid to retire because of the money situation. And I was afraid not to retire because of what I may miss out on if I didn't make it much past 50. During this time of deciding what to do, I felt an urgency to make that decision. I had lost all peace. I was becoming aggitated. I was feeling stressed and angry. I was confused. All because I was trying to make myself decide before that magic number. I felt like I was making myself do something I just wasn't ready to do. Now that I'm not afraid of not having a future, I have the time to plan better.

The reason I share this with you is because I think some of you may have something that tugs at you from time to time, and you may not even be aware it's controlling you our decisions and experiences in life. I hope you take a moment as I did to ask God if there is anything that is keeping you from doing "all" He has in store for you. Is there a hidden fear you don't want to face? Perhaps a regreat you just can't seem to get out of your mind. Whatever it may be, it's keeping you from experiencing all God has for you. I encourage you to go to Him today. And I pray that your New Year be filled with opportunity, surprises, and joy.

Tom's Tidbits
"Copy Cat Ways"

This segment is provided through revelations and insights that my husband shares with me during our conversations. He continues to say "one-liners" that impacts my life. He is a man of few words, so when he speaks, I pay close attention. I think that you will enjoy what he has to say too.

I was talking to my husband one morning while I was considering helping someone with their ministry. He said, "Linda, you don't need to get in someone else's truck and be a "copy cat", just stay in your own." He expressed that if I got bogged down with someone else's ministry, it will keep me from doing the things God wants me to in this ministry. It's not that their ministry isn't important, it's very important, very vital, very helpful to those who are being held captive, but he reminded me how important it is to stay focused in my own call. So I said, "Oh, I could simply support them?" He said, yes, you can do that. See I was already thinking of how to open up a shelter here, what buildings to get, etc., when all along God just wants me to pray for that ministry and support whenever possible.

I have the tendency to make things bigger and larger than they need to be. I even out do myself sometimes. I would put on a concert, simple? Ha. It would end up being a carnival! Or when I would have a simple lunch? Simple? Ha, it would be tri-tip and potato salad. God is teaching me to stay focused. Just because I "can" do lots of things doesn't mean I'm to do them! The enemy wants to distract us from the things we are called to do. My husband is good at helping me stay on track. And I thank God every day for him and his wisdom.
