Folder list on the left is missing / Change layout settings

This problem arises when your Outlook Express layout settings are incorrect. To solve the problem, correct the settings.

 Problem   The folder list on the left, which includes the Inbox and Outbox, is missing. 
 Cause   The layout settings are incorrect. 
 Solution   Fix the layout settings. 
How to change the layout settings

1) Open Outlook Express.



2) From the View menu, choose Layout.



3) Check the box next to Folder List.

4) Click the OK button.



You should now see your mail folders displayed in the left hand column of your screen.
