To set a password for an Outlook Express 5 identity, check the box next to Require a password, and enter your new password in the dialog box, as outlined below.

How to set a password for Outlook Express 5 Identities

1) Open Outlook Express.



2) From the File menu, click Identities, and choose Manage Identities.



3) Choose the identity that you wish to set a password for from the list.

4) Click the Properties button.



5) Check the box next to Require a password.



6) In the New Password field, type the password that you would like to use on the identity.

7) In the Confirm New Password field, type the password again for confirmation.

8) Click the OK button.



9) Click the OK button.

10) Click the Close button.
