Configuring Outlook Mail
 

Outlook Express 3.0 & 4.0

  1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the mail icon.
  2. Click on 'Read Mail'.
  3. Click on 'Tools'.
  4. Click on 'Accounts'.
  5. Click on 'Properties'
  6. In the first field enter 'Mindsync Mail'.
  7. Then input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  8. Click on the 'Servers' tab.
  9. Enter the outgoing mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  10. Enter the incoming mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  11. Enter your full username@mindsync.com as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  12. Enter your password.
  13. Click 'OK'.
  14. Click 'Close'.

Outlook Express 5.0 & 6.0

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click on 'Tools'.
  3. Click on 'Accounts'.
  4. Click on 'Properties'
  5. In the first field enter 'Mindsync Mail'.
  6. Then input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  7. Click on the 'Servers' tab.
  8. Enter the incoming mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  9. Enter the outgoing mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  10. Enter your full username@mindsync.com as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  11. Enter your password.
  12. Click 'OK'.
  13. Click 'Close'.

Outlook 97

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click on 'Tools'.
  3. Click on 'Services'.
  4. Select 'Internet Mail'
  5. Click on 'Properties'
  6. In the first field enter 'Mindsync Mail'.
  7. Then input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  8. Enter the incoming mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  9. Enter your full username@mindsync.com as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  10. Enter your password.
  11. Click on 'Advanced Options'
  12. Enter the outgoing mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  13. Click 'OK'.
  14. Click 'OK'.
  15. Click 'OK'.

Outlook 98

  1. Open Outlook 98'.
  2. Click on 'Tools'.
  3. Click on 'Services'.
  4. Select 'Internet Mail'
  5. Click on 'Properties'
  6. In the first field enter 'Mindsync Mail'.
  7. Then input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  8. Click on the 'Servers' tab.
  9. Enter the outgoing mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  10. Enter the incoming mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  11. Enter your username as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  12. Enter your password.
  13. Click 'OK'.
  14. Click 'OK'.

Outlook 2000

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click on 'Tools'.
  3. Click on 'Accounts'.
  4. In the first field enter 'Mindsync Mail'.
  5. Then input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  6. Click on the 'Servers' tab.
  7. Enter the incoming mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  8. Enter the outgoing mail server, mail.mindsync.com.
  9. Enter your username as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  10. Enter your password.
  11. Click 'OK'.
  12. Click 'Close'.

Outlook XP

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Click on 'Tools'.
  3. Click on 'E-Mail Accounts'.
  4. Click on 'View or change existing e-mail accounts.
  5. Click on 'Add'.
  6. Select 'POP3'
  7. Input your name, and e-mail address (yourusername@mindsync.com).
  8. Enter the incoming mail server (POP3), mail.mindsync.com.
  9. Enter the outgoing mail server (SMTP), mail.mindsync.com.
  10. Enter your full username@mindsync.com as your 'Account Name'. (Account Name is the full e-mail address, i.e. yourusername@mindsync.com)
  11. Enter your password.
  12. Click 'Next', then 'Finish'.
