Error 667 can't get mail / Trash the Outlook Express preferences

If you are unable to get you email and are getting Error 667, your Outlook Express Preferences may be corrupt. You will need to trash your Outlook Express Preferences and reconfigure.

Trash the Outlook Express Preferences

How to trash the Outlook Express preferences
  1. Double-click the Macintosh HD icon.

  2. Double-click the Internet folder.

  3. Double-click the Internet Applications folder.

  4. Double-click the Outlook Express folder.

  5. Double-click the OE User(s) folder.

  6. Double-click the Main User folder.

  7. Click and hold the Outlook Express Prefs item in the folder, then drag it and release it on the trash can.

    You have successfully trashed the Outlook Express preferences and reconfigured the application. Now try and get your email again. Refer to the How to configure Outlook Express.

  8. Restart your computer.
